Qays fell in love with Laila (or Layla) bint Mahdi ibn Sa’d, a young girl from his tribe, and wrote many poems about his undying love for her. However, when Qays asked Laila’s father for her hand in marriage, he was refused, and soon, Laila was married off to another man and moved away. Qays became devastated and left home to wander the wilderness and deserts where he continued to compose poetry but quickly descended into madness. He thus earned the nickname Majnun or Majnu , meaning mad or crazy. One of the most beautiful arts humans can perform. One of my favorite paintings is this one it is called "La Condeza de Vilches" by Antonio Madrazo, a Spanish painter. It is a beautiful portrait of a very young and attractive countess, she was an important woman in the Spanish society. It is very realistic, in dark colors for the background and light colors for the young woman. It is full of details in her face, dress and the couch she is sitting in. Madrazo wanted to express all the beauty and youth of this woman full of life.

The Mona Lisa is 16th century oil painting created by the renowned Leonardo da Vinci. The work of art depicts an enigmatic woman gazing at the viewer, and it is said that if you move across the room while looking into her eyes, they’ll follow you.
